[link]Happy New Year everyone!
Completely stolen survey from

Figured I'd fill it out at the start of the new year while I procrastinate a bit. Maru and I might be editing some pics, which may mean that I'll
finally get to put some up on my account. She completely absconded my computer last week.

My main source of internet was my iPhone and work.

But she's great in bed, so she gets away with it.

Wut?

►Who is your favourite person to cosplay as?
Tough choice 'cause I can't say that I have ever truly disliked any of the above. And yes, I realize that I didn't add L nor B because I don't consider the part of the list. I'd say that Vincent still has a very dear place in my heart, but obviously Mello and Harley have taken over with the blonde invasion and I adore them.

►Who do you REALLY wanna cosplay as?
I would like to finish up Cao Pi (Dynasty Warriors 6).
►How many of your friends cosplay?
Great majority, if not all.
►Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?
Yes, more often than I can count.
►Have people in public ever recognized you and asked for photos?
Yes.

►Have you ever made your own cosplay outfit?
Death Note outfits aside that are mostly store bought and altered in one way or another, all of the above.
►When and where did you first learn of cosplay?
In college, through someone I became friends with and dragged me off to Otakon 03. It was downhill from there.

►What did you think of it then?
Thought it was great and I distinctly remember thinking that the only reason I wanted to do Van was because I wanted to make his shoulder armor. And did.

►What do you think of it now?
I'm not making as many elaborate things as I used to, but I'm doing more with what I have in terms of photography. I think I miss some of the construction, but also think I used to have more patience (and funds!) for it.
►Where do you usually cosplay?
Cons, photoshoots.
►Have you ever done a cosplay skit on stage?
No.
►Have you ever won a prize for said skit?
No, but I've won prizes for outfits before, all of which with a group.
Isaak - Best Walk On at Toracon 2006
Riku - Best of Saturday Hall Cosplay - Journeyman division at AnimeNEXT 2006
Radu (imperial) - Photographer's award at MangaNEXT 2007
Ducan - Best of Saturday, Journeyman division at AnimeNEXT 2008
►Do you plan your cosplay outfits way before youre meant to wear them?
Depends on the complexity of the outfit. If there's construction involved, then naturally.
►Have you ever been to a convention and cosplayed?
Every single one of which I've lost count.

►What is the best thing about cosplay?
The satisfaction of getting it (hopefully) right, and the friendships gained form it.
►What is the worst thing about cosplay?
The drama.

►Why do you cosplay?
I ask myself that question sometimes.

As stated above, there's a certain satisfaction in knowing that I pulled something off - whether it involved the craftsmanship of an elaborate outfit and/or prop, or just the correct representation of a character.
►Now Tag 10 Other Cosplayers?
That'd just be mean, wouldn't it?
Cosplay Progress:None atm.
