It took Maru about 5 hours to freehand all of the tattoos on me with washable non-toxic markers. One arm came out better than the other and they became more and more impressionistic toward the end. 
It was quite the effort, from the research of placement & details, to the actual execution, and we were exhausted before we even started to shoot. XD Pretty proud of the end result, though.
